The SEC, or the Securities and Exchange Commission is another "Recovery" program in the New Deal. The Securities and Exchange Commission purpose in the New Deal was setting precautions for American citizens buying and selling stocks. This allowed the stocks, being bought and sold, to be safe. This program benefitted bankers and investors the most out of anybody. The Securities and Exchange Commission created rules for buying and selling stocks and created "safe stocks."
