Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal had many programs in it to benefit the American citizens. They were split up into the three R's or three categories relief, recovery, and reform. The first R is Relief, which means all the programs in relief were set up to meet and fix a crisis. The benefit of Relief is immediate help to the Great Depression. Three of the many programs that had an immediate benefit for the American citizens in the Relief category are the CCC, WPA, and PWA.
