In the early 1930's, the citizens of the U.S. encountered a problem with many people jobless and a lack of production because of a 3 year and continuing drought. The drought also caused the Dust Bowl which caused many deaths, and a lot of farm land to be destroyed. Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the U.S. successfully introduced the New Deal and all its programs, which created new opportunities for American Citizen.
